Evrim Resources has moved the drill team to the Suaqui Verde copper project located in Sonora, Mexico. Inmet Mining, exploration funding associate of Evrim, has scheduled to drill 4,700 m, 12 holes in total.
Evrim’s President has commented that the company is performing the drilling campaign as an outcome of the previously conducted geological and geochemical mapping and geophysical studies. Evrim is elated about the primary drilling program.
The focus of the drill program at the project is on the ZTEM geophysical and magnetic targets located at the Adriana showing. Sampling, surface mapping and historic drill program conducted at the Adriana showing has outlined an open porphyry system with molybdenum and copper mineralization distinguished by alteration for more than 2 x 3 km region prior to hiding by cover rocks and post mineral gravels in a fault bound basin. Evrim’s historic drill conducted in the Adriana target has examined the outermost peripheries of the system and over the ZTEM target’s core. They return strong anomalous gold, copper and molybdenum mineralization in intervals. The company will execute a further drilling program to examine the targets below the cover rocks and post mineral gravels located in the basin, which displays an analogous ZTEM and magnetic signature to the open mineralization at the Adriana.
The operator of this drilling campaign will be Evrim Resources.
