BonTerra Resources’ Infill Sampling Program Encounters Wide Gold Intercept

BonTerra Resources has performed an infill sampling program at the significant zones in BA-10-08 and the secondary vein systems.

A broad intercept of gold has been encountered in this infill sampling program. The company has put all infill samples into the three-dimensional model and these samples are included in the gold resource estimation.

The company has cut 31.20 g/t and 30.50 g/t gold over 1.0 m, 21.09 g/t gold over 3.0 m, 16.75 g/t gold over 6.0 m and 16.75 g/t gold over 17.50 m in the hole BA-10-08.

It has drilled the hole BA-10-08 to the western side of the primary five drill holes. The occurrence of the striking three separate coarsely analogous gold zones in BA-10-08 has made BonTerra to additionally drill to the southwest side. The hole BA-10-08 was present in the southwest direction, where the further drill holes have identified additional high-grade gold in the hole BA-11-06 called the Peninsula Zone.

The President of the company has commented that this infill campaign has made BonTerra to find gold in the secondary veins and in the smoky quartz layers. BonTerra is excited that this is giving shares by extending high-grade gold zones that are occurring previously. Each mineralized layer has the prospective of adding to several ounces.

Smoky quartz layers with sulphide mineralization are the target for the entire drill program conducted at the Eastern Extension property. Generally, the sulphides include mineralized zones of 1-10% and it can also be more as 50%. Carbonate, chlorite, sericite, silica and tourmaline are present in the alteration. The amalgamation of alteration types, sulphides, tourmaline and quartz layers is perfect for the gold mineralization in the region. Sphalerite existing in the quartz layer is connected with the high-grade gold at the property.
