Rodinia Lithium Confirms Brine Grade and Quality With Diamond Drill Results

Rodinia Lithium has confirmed brine grade and quality using diamond drill results at the Salar de Diablillos Project in Argentina. Diamond drilling has been going on in the project situated in the Salta Province for the lithium brine resource.

Chief Executive Officer of Rodinia Lithium, William Randall said that confirming the positive properties of the acquifers, from brine quality and grade to favourable lithologies, is an important step in increasing certainty and de-risking the project.

He added that they had now drilled and sampled the deposit with various different methodologies and have found consistent and positive results throughout. In addition, they had now completed their first pump test with final results expected shortly.

The drilling has covered six drill holes totalling 1,008 vertical meters. Drilling has consistently intersected sand and gravel dominant lithologies, with recoveries of between 10% and 100%. Sections with high recovery were sent for granulometric analysis, with results varying between 85% and 95% fine sand.

Rodinia Lithium Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company with a primary focus on Lithium exploration and development in North and South America. Rodinia’s property covers the entirety of the Salar de Diablillos nucleus, and a vast majority of the margin land with only approximately 600 hectares in the hands of private individuals.
