Omagh Minerals, a subsidiary of Galantas Gold, has received large, fresh and strong assay results from the channel sampling program conducted at its Joshua Vein in Omagh, County Tyrone property.
The company has intersected 35.39 g/t gold, 62.9 g/t silver and 3.5% lead over 1.3 m in the channel 31, 36.6 g/t gold, 50.4 g/t silver and 3.87% lead over 1.2 m in the channel 32, 38.9 g/t gold, 61.3 g/t silver and 2.18% lead over 1.2 m in the channel 33 and 27.5 g/t gold, 58.1 g/t silver and 1.8% lead over 1.0 m in the channel 34 of the Joshua vein.
Omagh has conducted the channel sampling campaign at Joshua vein’s north segment, which has not formerly undergone channel sampling. It has cut the channels across the open vein’s surface that is at a distance of 1 m and sampled in the sections of 10 cm. Overburden measuring a depth of around 2.5 m contains glacial till, upon which peat is present. The reported survey sites spot the western end of every cut of the channel. The company is testing the further channel samples and the results are pending. Trenching or drilling program has outlined the northern and southern trending of the Joshua vein over a strike length of around 678 m.
OMAC Laboratory has tested the samples for gold using fire assay method and other metals by ICP-ORE technique.
