Entrée Gold has reported the assay results of an additional two deep drill holes from its Ann Mason deposit, which is a copper and molybdenum mineralization in Nevada.
The company has intercepted long mineralization grading of 0.41% and 0.43% of copper equivalent (CuEq) over 438 m and 684 m, respectively. It has encountered high-grade mineralized molybdenum and copper that contains over 0.50% CuEq intervals. Entrée has drilled holes EG-AM-11-012 and 013 in the central and southwest parts of the presently outlined mineralization region at Ann Mason.
The CEO and President of Entrée Gold, has stated that the drill program is ongoing and the heading in the right direction of extending and advancing the formerly outlined inferred copper resource of more than 7 Blbs. Entrée has received positive results from the hole 013. These factors are essential for a preliminary evaluation of the deposit’s fiscal possibility. At present, Entrée has scheduled to finish a Preliminary Economic Assessment during the second quarter of 2012.
The mineralization is further expanded by the hole EG-AM-11-012 in the deposit’s southwest segment. The location of the drill hole EG-AM-11-013 is in the deposit’s central core region, and the hole has returned high-grade mineralization for almost 700 m in straight once after passing out of the younger cover rocks. The high molybdenum values that are average values of molybdenum in EG-AM-11-013 might tie with the early molybdenum results obtained from nearby holes EG-AM-11-001, 003, 004 and 009.
The company is drilling two holes at the Ann Mason. It has drilled 18,358 m, totaling 16 holes, and drilling further two holes. The results of these three holes are pending.
