Mindoro Resources has reported the initial hole results from the infill and expansion drill program conducted at the Southwest Breccia (SWB), which is a high-grade, epithermal gold shoot located at Lobo in Philippines. The company has cut 11.27 g/t gold over 5.0 m and 6.56 g/t gold over 9.05 m in the hole LB-58-11.
The drill intercept is revealed by the supplementary cross-section with respect to the early drill holes in the section 10,155N and continuity of mineralization has been formed between the holes LB-24 and LB-25 at 40 m.
The CEO and President of Mindoro, has stated that the intersection of high-grade gold from the primary hole located at SWB is a positive commencement to the campaign, which has been planned to examine the expansion and continuity of the high-grade gold at SWB.
The company will be continuing the drill program at SWB for some more weeks and then examine the high-grade feeder formations at the Batangas and at the Archangel–Kay Tanda. It is currently waiting for the assay results from the holes LB-59-11 and LB-60-11.
Mindoro has started a 700 m drilling campaign, totaling 9 holes, to expand and infill the high-grade gold shoot at SWB and to gather the samples for the metallurgical test. The company has interested 9.6 g/t gold over 17.4 m and 9.5 g/t gold over 32.2 m during the former drilling program.
