Entourage Metals has started the drilling program at the Black Raven project, NW Ontario. The company will drill 2,000 m, totaling up to 10 diamond drill holes, during this primary drill phase. Primarily, this drill program will focus on the high-grade soil and rock sample regions, which includes the Super G Prospect.
Entourage has encountered 150 g/t and 734 g/t of gold from the quartz vein projections at this prospect, a shear target present in mafic volcanic rocks. The exposure of this prospect is restricted on the surface. Additionally, the drill program will focus the anomalies away from the property that contains the soil anomalies connected with the Beggs Lake stock.
The soil sampling results from the property has found numerous gold anomalous regions and related pathfinder elements mainly like antimony, arsenic, and molybdenum. These gold anomalies are near the Beggs Lake Stock. The latest soil sampling assay results from the laboratory vary between the discovery limit as high as 0.8 g/t gold. This high soil sample value is connected with the Beggs Lake stock’s south border. Elements like antimony, arsenic and molybdenum that are connected with the soil samples demonstrate spatial association with these gold anomalies.
The location of the Black Raven property is near the northwest edge of the Schreiber-Hemlo greenstone belt’s east part, situated 14 km to the northeast of Marathon. This property can be accessed through the Trans-Canada Highway and also by floatplane and helicopter.
