Rogue Resources has updated the diamond drill program conducted at its Radio Hill iron ore project, which is situated 80 km to the southwest part of Timmins in Ontario.
Orbit Garant, which was engaged by Rogue, has drilled six holes, totaling 1,200 m. The company has drilled 15 holes, totaling 3,140 m, of the recent 10,000 m drilling during the phase I program. It has sent 372 samples in total, which denotes the 1,840 m of core, to the SGS Laboratory, Lakefield and has also included the sampling of one drill hole of 2010 and two drill holes of 2008, which were unsampled for iron ore.
The purpose of the current drill program is to evaluate the previous geological model by twinning the present holes and testing the footwall contact along with the sediments. SGS Canada has performed the core logging and control of the field drill and is also engaged to prepare a 43-101 compliant resource assessment of the Radio Hill property.
The company has completed sampling on the core length from 3 to 6 m. Davis Tube Recovery and Satmagan testing, complete rock XRF testing are included in assaying.
