Argentum Silver has reported the assay results from its 1053 ha Coyote project in Mexico. This project manages the previous San Miguel de la Sierra mining district. The company has secured an option from Soltoro for purchasing 100% interest in the Victoria and Coyote projects.
Argentum’s exploration teams is mining this project from the commencement of the 2011 spring season, and this exploration work has included sampling of rock chips and mine works mapping and geologic mapping.
The company has outlined several stockwork zones and low sulfidation epithermal vein systems, in which most of them exist in seven outlined mineralization belts over a region of around 1.5 x 2.6 km. Argentum has taken 197 rock chip samples in the seven belts, wherein most of the samples are unbroken rock chip samples whose thickness of the sample varies from 0.3 m to 10 m. The average thickness of the sample is 1.9 m. the company has encountered more than 100 g/t silver from 26 samples, which includes 661 g/t, 475 g/t and 423 g/t of silver over 0.8 m, 505 g/t silver over 1.0 m and 458 g/t silver over 2.5 m. Sample’s overall average is 0.096 g/t gold and 86.8 g/t silver. Besides the high-grade veining, the company has found exceptional bulk tonnage mineralized prospective, which has been confirmed by broad stockwork mineralization zones.
The present exploration of the company will have the geophysical survey analysis, continuous sampling and mapping, and mechanical trenching to find the true grades and thickness of mineralization. This ongoing campaign will discover the drilling targets.
