Goldrich Mining has completed the diamond core drill program at the Chandalar property in Alaska during 2011, together with a comprehensive aerial magnetometer survey and a grid-based soil sampling program.
The company drilled around 15,000 ft, totaling 25 HQ-size holes, in five target regions. The contractor drilled the final hole in September 2011. The turnaround time of the drill core assays is around six weeks and the company will compile and report all the assay results during November 2011.
The soil sampling program included more than 1,100 samples that are gathered from a reconnaissance scale grid conducted over around 65% of the Chandalar property. International geophysical contractor conducted aerial geophysical survey and flew about 750 line miles over the complete property along the flight lines having an intermittent gap of 100 m. Initial magnetic information has shown prominent, clear mineralized formations and has discovered fresh pointed district-scale and prospect-scale anomalies and also mineralized trends.
The company has drastically extended the geological understanding of the current body at the Chandalar property during the 2011 exploration. It is expecting combined core, magnetic and soil information to offer a solid groundwork for promoting a detailed appraisal and exploration of the several gold occurrences at the property.
Goldrich Mining is dealing with the trade of mining and discovery of gold deposits.
