Soltera Mining has begun a field program, comprising geophysical surveying, geological mapping and sampling, at the El Torno gold targets, which is a huge vein systems and the prospective open-pit regions with isolated gold.
Geochemical survey conducted during 2008 has defined the potential open-pit targets and the veins. A small reconnaissance sampling was performed after this survey, which encountered greater than 10 oz/t gold over 1.5 m channel sample. The latest geological survey will contain the sampling of the country rocks and veins, and will expand along the main vein system. This survey will enclose the strong and wide geochemical gold anomalies. The target of the geophysical survey will be the vein system’s key areas.
The objective of the work is to identify the surface appearance of the vein gold mineralization, to understand the geology, to offer a drilling base for analyzing the key gold targets, and to examine the country rock’s strong gold anomalous regions found during the geochemical surveys. Soltera expects that the sampling and mapping completion will take approximately three months and an extra two months to complete the analysis for the contract laboratory. Following the geological mapping, the company has requested the geophysical contractors to make a quote for the survey.
Goldlake Italia has approved to assist this phase I operations of Soltera according to the Capital Increase agreement between Goldlake and Soltera.
