Mansfield Minerals has announced the drilling results from its second drill campaign conducted at the Arizaro porphyry system, which is situated in its Lindero project. The location of this discovery of porphyry is 3 km to the Lindero gold deposit’s southeastern part.
The company has drilled eight holes, totaling 3,123 m. The surface sampling, mapped alteration and drilling of the Arizaro Porphyry System shows that the system encloses an area of 600 X 500 m. Mineralized copper and gold exists from the surface towards a depth of 300 m vertically and the mineralization can be expanded in all directions. The discovery has been examined by the company with 16 drill holes, all of which returned considerable intercepts.
The company has intersected 0.47 g/t gold and 0.20% copper over 38 m, 0.43 g/t gold and 0.14% copper over 30 m in the hole ARD 9, 0.61g/t gold and 0.10% copper over 16 m, 0.58 g/t gold and 0.17% copper over 25 m, 0.46 g/t gold and 0.15% copper over 39 m in the hole ARD 10, 0.48 g/t gold and 0.17% copper over 34 m, 0.40 g/t gold and 0.12% copper over 30 m in the hole ARD 11, 0.59 g/t gold and 0.21% copper over 32 m, 0.47 g/t gold and 0.26% copper over 30 m in the hole ARD 12, 1.36 g/t gold and 0.36% copper over 48 m, 1.81 g/t gold and 0.41% copper over 30 m, 0.87 g/t gold and 0.27% copper over 96 m in the hole ARD 13, 0.92 g/t gold and 0.24% copper over 22 m, 0.82 g/t gold and 0.23% copper over 30 m in the hole ARD 14, 0.50 g/t gold and 0.24% copper over 52 m in the hole ARD 15, 0.39 g/t gold and 0.19% copper over 14 m, 0.28 g/t gold and 0.16% copper over 28 m in the hole ARD 16.
