Cancana Resources Starts Soil Sampling Program at Dash Property

Cancana Resources has started soil sampling program at the Dash property in B.C.

In negotiations with the third party contractor, the company has approved for a primary soil sampling recovery of 208.7 kg. Cancana recovered this sample from the property’s 75 m zone, and then sent and examined it at the contractor’s premises.

The Contractor possesses its own gold recovery, testing and mobile soil sampling systems, which do not use any toxic chemicals and water recycling feature for its processing systems ensuring that these systems can recover native gold of up to 95%. Native gold of size above 125 µm and below 125 µm will be captured by this gold recovery system. The primary soil sample was subjected to remote processing with the use of this system

A 208.7 kg soil sample has been tested primarily and showed gold results of 4-5 g.

Currently, a qualified assayer will fire assay this recovery to find its accurate weight.

The contractor and the company have agreed to receive a huge soil sample of around 2 t to validate the preliminary results and confirm the feasibility of using this gold recovery system commercially. The company has planned to get the soil sample before the climatic conditions worsen and sample processing may be remotely done this year.

The area of the Dash property includes 5,386.93 ha. This property has five mineral zones bearing gold.
