Pilot Gold to Commence Drill Program at Kinsley Mountain Property

Pilot Gold has informed Nevada Sunrise Gold that it will commence a diamond core drilling at the Kinsley Mountain property. The current plan of the company is to drill six diamond core holes to form structural and stratigraphic controls to mineralizations located at Kinsley Mountain.

The company acquired the Mining Option Agreement to form a joint venture with Nevada Sunrise from Animas Resources at the property during September 2011. The property has 141 claims that encloses 2,807 A of area on BLM land located in the Kinsley Mountains, Nevada. The location of the property is approximately 45 mi. to the Long Canyon property’s southeast part, where the geologic team of the company outlined considerable gold resources. Mineralization present at stratigraphic intervals in the Kinsley Mountain property is similar to the mineralization located at the Long Canyon property.

Under the acquisition of Kinsley Mountain option agreement, Moira Smith, Chief Geologist of Pilot Gold, commented that deposit modeling, aggressive drill program and comprehensive geologic analysis have led to the success at the Long Canyon property. The company has planned to set a similar strategy and exploration group for the Kinsley Mountain property. As drilled mineralization and an open pit is present in nearby regions, Pilot Gold can be assured of a great start.
