Nevada Copper has reported further encouraging results of the step-out drilling program conducted at the Pumpkin Hollow property, Nevada. The company has also received the drill hole results from the 50,000 m of expansion and step-out drilling campaign. Currently, three rigs are drilling at the project.
The company drilled the hole NC11-20 at the North deposit’s southwest segment, where several mineralization zones are extending towards the south continuously. It has cut three mineralization zones, including 0.68% copper over 1,000 ft. Besides the extension of the main mineralization towards the south, the company intercepted the deeper stacked mineralized zones. The deep mineralized zones are partly shown by the intersection of a huge zone in the hole NC11-20, averaging 0.54% copper. Currently, the company is performing the follow up drilling program.
Nevada Copper encountered several low-grade mineralized zones in the hole NC11-19 along South Deposit’s northeast edge. The hole validated the continuity of minerals and extended the mineralization. The company has scheduled to drill a series of holes in this region for finding the mineralization level between the South and North deposits.
The target of the drill hole NC11-18 is on the mineralization along the East deposit’s southwest edge. The company validated the continuity of the key mineralized zone, due to the thinning of mineralization in the area.
