Scorpio Gold has received the follow-up drilling results from the Brodie zone, which is situated 975 m towards the southwest of the present Drinkwater pit mining at the company’s 70% owned Mineral Ridge project in Nevada.
The company’s CEO and President, Peter J. Hawley, has stated that the follow-up drill program conducted at the Brodie zone has focused on the expansion towards the northwest. Currently, this program has outlined a mineralized trend over a strike of length 850 m and the trend stays open towards the southeast and northwest directions. The location of the trend is on strike along with the Bluelite zone, which is situated 1,370 m to the northwest part. The company collared these drill holes from 300 to 600 m of spacing to the northwest direction from the previous Brodie pit.
Scorpio Gold has intersected 6.23 g/t gold over 4.57 m and 1.47 g/t gold over 1.52 m in MR11149, 0.65 g/t gold and 0.57 g/t gold over 1.52 m, 0.52 g/t gold over 3.05 m in MR11150, 2.41 g/t gold over 3.05 m, 1.30 g/t gold and 0.85 g/t gold over 1.52 m in MR11151, 0.47 g/t gold over 4.57 m in MR11152, 1.11 g/t gold over 3.05 m and 0.60 g/t gold over 1.52 m in MR11153, 8.87 g/t gold over 13.72 and 5.19 g/t gold over 24.39 m in MR11252.
American Assay Laboratory (AAL) of Nevada conducted the analytical results.
