Nevado Resources’ Phase I Intensive Exploration at its Properties, near Fermont

Nevado Resources has reported the phase I intensive exploration program at its properties, which is situated close to Fermont city and between the deposits of Mont Reed d'ArcelorMittal and Fire Lake.

DSO type of iron deposits occur favorably at these properties. The goal of the exploration program is to receive the initial results, which will be utilized for the development of the prospective iron.

The company has started the exploration program along with an extremely high resolution magnetic geophysical survey over a 100 m area between the trajectories of the flight at lower elevation. Novaterm will perform this geophysical survey. The aerial survey will enclose over 400 sq. km, which has covered three constant mining claim blocks in the Fire Lake and Fermont regions. The time taken for the survey will be over 6,000 km of flight time. The aim of the survey is to trace the regions, where the magnetic signature matches with the regions that are iron-rich, favorable to have type DSO mineralization. Qualified prospectors as helicopter groups will organize a ground program to confirm the magnetic survey.

AXOR geological team has controlled the work and the mission of the team is to expand the phase II exploration program as well as a drill campaign scheduled for the second quarter of the year 2012.
