Sama Resources Reports Metallurgical Test Results from Samapleu Project

Sama Resources has reported that the results from the latest heavy media separation tests conducted under the metallurgical test campaign at its Samapleu Extension 1 poly-metallic deposit and Samapleu Main poly-metallic deposit, have obtained more high-grade results.

The ore material treatment with an estimated grade of 0.33% copper and 0.35% nickel produced float rejects of 0.17% copper and 0.092% nickel with the sink material that was improved to 0.53% copper and 0.66% nickel. The company is continuing the analysis by means of various ore feed materials.

Dr. Marc-Antoine Audet, Sama’s CEO and President commented that these primary results have shown the potential occurrence to improve the low grades ores of Samapleu for creating high-grade material to flotation process. The developed data will be incorporated in the NI 43-101 compliant report of the project.

Société Générale de Surveillance of Ontario performed the metallurgical testing. Previous flotation test work showed that a bulk concentrate of copper and nickel testing more than 18% copper and nickel can be generated using a production ore blend that grades 0.52% copper and 0.53% nickel.

Currently, the company has completed the phase II drill campaign of the Sipilou South laterite deposit, the Samapleu Main poly-metallic deposit and the Samapleu Extension 1 poly-metallic deposit. Remaining sample batches are sent for assaying. It has commenced determination of mineral resource estimates for these deposits and the process will be completed after the final remaining assay results become available.
