Golden Share Mining has provided details on the Shebandowan gold project (SGP), northwest Ontario.
The company has completed the phase I diamond drill program at the Pistol Lake. This program involved drilling of a total of eight holes spanning 1,358 m. The focus of the four holes is on the Trench 14 discovery, where 0,68 g/t gold over 36 m was returned as composite interval in the JF west zone’s east expansion. A geographical cross section, including three north-south holes, was carried out around 150 m to the JF West resource region’s eastern part. Golden Share drilled a hole in the inferred resource.
Golden share has added a second drill to the project and is currently drilling in the central portion of the SGP in the Lobanor region and on the U zone located at the Elwood project.
The location of this project is 90 km to the western part of Thunder Bay in north-west Ontario. A high-tension power line, the Trans-Canada highway and a railroad line have supported the Shebandowan project and offer good infrastructure to the SGP.
Golden Share has managed a strike of length 25 km along the Shebandowan belt’s northern portion, which is being emphasized by two higher gold targets namely west zone of Pistol Lake JF and Band Ore deposit.
