Macusani Yellowcake has reported the further assay results from the current drill campaign at the Chilcuno Chico anomaly, which is located at the Kihitian property in Peru. These assay results are continuing to expand the "A" zone and the deeper Manto B zone.
The company has intersected 5,296 ppm U3O8 over 2 m and 1,238 ppm U3O8 over 9 m in the hole PT-CH14-TSE, 1,111 ppm U3O8 over 2 m and 491 ppm U3O8 over 5 m in the hole PT-CH14-TNE, 1,123 ppm U3O8 over 2 m and 246 ppm U3O8 over 11 m in the hole PT-CH9-TSE, 335 ppm U3O8 over 2 m in the hole PT-CH17-TV, 542 ppm U3O8 over 6 m in the hole PT-CH15-TSE.
These assay results are obtained from the bore holes, which are drilled towards the southwest and south.
The company’s drilling in the Chilcuno Chico target, which is inside the Kihitian concession, has outlined approximately 700 x 400 m of area.
Peter Hooper, the company’s CEO and President, commented that Macusani is delighted with the assay results as it is adding continually to the resource base over the zones found in the present model.
Currently, Macusani is operating three drilling service rigs at the Kihitian property, which contains a newly mobilized rig at the Quebrada Blanca anomaly that is 2 km to the northwest of Chilcuno Chico.
