Gold Reach Resources has identified a fresh mineralized zone at Seel property, along with the drill results obtained from the holes 91 to 96, which is situated contiguous to the Huckleberry mine.
The company has cut copper-gold-molybdenum-silver mineralization in the drill holes 91 and 95, which has not been formerly found at the property. The location of this fresh discovery is 250 m to the western part of the Seel copper-gold zone, which exists contiguous to and under the near surface mineralization of copper and molybdenum discovered by the company during a drill campaign in 2005. Porphyry mineralization, with new style, exists in a different intrusive host rock having a chalcopyrite-molybdenite-pyrite-pyrrhotite sulfide group and a strong biotite alteration. The company encountered 0.23% copper, 0.16 g/t gold, 0.02% molybdenum and 3.2 g/t silver over 316.8 m in the hole 95, 0.18% copper, 0.17 g/t gold, 0.035% molybdenum and 1.7 g/t silver over 52.4 m in the hole 91. It found fresh mineralized intrusive at the end of the holes 91 and 95, which demonstrates that the mineralization in the fresh discovery is unbroken and the zone has extensive gold, molybdenum and silver, along with copper.
The fresh mineralized intrusive has been cut through the holes 97, 98, 99 and 100 and these holes have outlined the West Seel Deposit over 600 m of strike, to 500 m of depth and over 200 m of thickness. The company has anticipated the assay results for the holes from 97 to 100.
The company is delighted due to the polymetallic West Seel deposit discovery, which was made during the end of the 2011 drill campaign. The zone has demonstrated the prospective for housing a huge resource and stays open for a broad extension.
Holes 92 and 93 analyzed the Seel Breccia areas and cut narrow zones of mineralized copper and silver. Hole 94 examined a copper-in-soil and geophysical anomaly, which is situated 1.2 km to the Seel zone’s northwest part. This hole returned broad intrusive rocks and hydrothermal alteration.
