Geologix Explorations Completes Airborne Geophysical Survey at Tepal Project

Geologix Explorations has completed an aerial geophysical survey over the complete area of Tepal project.

At 150 m of flight line spacings, the survey flew over 1,551 line-km in the 172 sq. km. mineral concessions of the Tepal project. The company performed a more comprehensive survey over 19 sq. km. of the core resource region at 75 m of spacings.

Aeroquest finished this aerial survey, by using the AeroTEM IV system for magnetic and electromagnetic compilation of data. In addition, an Aeroquest AGRS spectrometry system was incorporated to gather the property’s radiometric information.

The company will be facilitated by this survey result to distinguish the different geophysical signatures identified over the resource regions like Tizate, North zone and South zone in the claim’s core group. These signatures are then used to spot and outline further exploration target regions on the remaining unexplored properties. The company is processing the information and the results are pending.

The results from the aerial survey will be combined and analyzed along with formerly gathered information, which contains an induced polarization survey and a silt survey performed on the property during 2011, a comprehensive soil sampling survey at the northeast and east of the Tizate property and rock sampling and geological mapping over the property.
