Robex Resources has commenced the drill program again to the southern part of Lens 100, which is located on the Mininko permit, Mali. The drill program will explore a geochemical anomaly of 2.4 km length, which is an expansion towards the southern portion of the current Nampala resource.
During September 2011, the company conducted a diamond drill program over 300 m to the southern part of the mineralized zone and showed a potential opening towards the southern region. It drilled 100.5 m totally and announced 0.57 g/t as overall grade, which has included 2.18 g/t over 4 m and 1.45 g/t over 11 m. The expansion to the mineralized zone’s southern part can agree for a resource increase in the oxidized zone, wherein a feasibility study was done that shows the economic capability of an open pit mine.
The company completed the drill program that includes 35 bore holes totally having a length of around 100 m, with 10 bore holes, totaling 900 m. The proposed drill program will have an azimuth angle of 90° at a plunge of 50°. The survey points have contained a fifth bore hole at the mesh’s centre part and staggered over a mesh of 200 m.
