Metals Creek Resources has reported the assay results of the current prospecting campaign conducted at its Jackson's Arm property, Newfoundland. This property has 4700 ha, totaling 188 staked claim units, and situated on the White Bay’s west side. The property is adjacent to excellent infrastructure, which includes a power line and a paved road.
The company has discovered two new gold mineralization zones during the exploration program at Jackson's Arm property. The location of the Shrik zone is around 100 m towards the northern part of the Boot n Hammer zones, a primary discovery. This zone is defined as quartz veins with thickness up to 4 m, and stringers in an altered granodiorite. Dispersed pyrite of 2 -10% are present in the mineralization within the granodiorite intrusion and the quartz vein material. The gold assays have ranged from 5 to 7,290 ppb. The Stocker Zone, which is a new third zone, is situated around 400 m towards the Boot n Hammer zone’s southern part and is defined as a huge quartz flooding zone with dispersed pyrite of 1-10%. The gold assays from the Stocker zone have ranged from 5 to 56,779 ppb. The company is continuously conducting the sampling and prospecting program on the claims and has commenced a soil sampling survey. It will announce the results, once it is obtained and compiled. Metals Creek has not explored a huge part of the granodiorite intrusion.
The company has got the ICP information from the Boot n Hammer zone, wherein the analysis of silver ranges from 0.2 up to 170 ppm.
