Bravo Gold has identified fresh high-grade gold mineralization during the drill program conducted at the Homestake Ridge project’s South Reef zone, northwest British Columbia. This zone is situated 750 m towards the Homestake Silver deposit’s southwest portion and has shown a formerly undrilled region that is exposed along the strike for more than 750 m and at depth.
The company intersected 0.3% copper, 30.8 g/t gold and 3.3 g/t silver over 3.1 m and 0.1% copper, 11.3 g/t gold and 1.6 g/t silver over 8.7 m in the hole 11HR-232, 37.3 g/t gold and 7.7 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 12.9 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver over 3.0 m in the hole 11HR-234.
Bravo intercepted huge sulphide lens, rich in copper, in the upper portion of the hole 11HR-234, which encountered 2.0% copper, 4.5 g/t gold and 44.0 g/t silver over 1.95 m, 0.6% copper, 3.4 g/t gold and 15.7 g/t silver over 6.3 m.
The mineralized structure is present along the strong IP geophysical anomaly’s east border, which can be outlined through the central portion of the property. Mineralized gold in the structure is connected with chalcopyrite in a strongly chlorite-quartz altered volcanic host. The hole 11HR-234 has examined the zone for 240 m beneath the surface and stays exposed at depth. This zone is exposed for 300 m towards the northwest part.
The company is waiting for the third hole assays that analyzed the structure of the target for around 50 m along the strike from the hole 11HR-234.
The upper sulphide interval appears identical to a copper and gold enriched huge sulphide lens, which is situated at the surface of 2.0 km towards the southeast region of the Vanguard Copper occurrence. These may show considerable hanging wall lenses, which can help in the upcoming exploration for further fresh deposits.
The company has obtained assays from 15 holes out of the season's 23 holes drilled at the Homestake Ridge property. It is expecting the assays from five further holes from the Homestake Silver zone’s southeast border, two holes from the formerly untested South Reef zone and one hole on the outer target.
