Westridge Resources Plans for Additional Diamond Drilling at Charay Project

Westridge Resources has planned for an additional diamond drill program at the Charay project, which is situated near Los Mochis’s seaside city in Mexico, in the Q1 of 2012.

The company has planned the drilling program to expand and broaden the mineralized zone containing silver and gold that was outlined during the early drill program at the El Padre vein, along strike and to depth. Previously, Westridge drilled 20 holes to around 50 m of depth beneath the surface and about 250 m along the El Padre vein’s strike. Three twin holes were drilled by the company during July 2011 in order to validate the previous drill program. These drilling results have authenticated the high-grade potential at longer intervals and the existence of high-grade silver and gold in the El Padre Vein system.

Westridge has intersected 204.0 g/t gold and 445.0 g/t silver over 0.75 m, 81.06 g/t gold and 268.2 g/t silver over 2.15 m, 12.15 g/t gold and 49.7 g/t silver over 2.0 m in the hole 21-T-2, 26.52 g/t gold and 51.3 g/t silver over 3.6 m, 18.78 g/t gold and 48.0 g/t silver over 9.8 m, 9.19 g/t gold and 30.0 g/t silver over 1.1 m in the hole 18-T, 10.42 g/t gold and 23.3 g/t silver over 2.2 m in the hole 23-T.

The company also identified the potential for several vein intersections in the hole 21T2, along with second mineralized gold interval under the El Padre vein. ALS in Vancouver finished the gold assays, by means of fire assay and an ICP finish.

Geological trenching, mapping, and soil and outcrop sampling programs were completed by the company, next to the El Padre vein in order to follow-up the diamond drill program, during November and December.
