Nanika Resources Receives Soil Sample Results from Polaris Gold Property

Nanika Resources has obtained the soil sample results from Polaris Gold property, situated in British Columbia. It analyzed 125 soil samples, as part of a survey program. The property claims include a land of over 800 ha.

The program mainly targeted the Discovery zone region, which was earlier targeted by COMINCO. The previous reports of COMINCO have defined the Discovery zone as the region containing arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, pyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalerite and tiny free gold particles, and carbonate- quartz veining in argillite.

COMINCO took samples from the veins and produced assays of up to 2050 g/t gold. The location of the Discovery zone is in Polaris Creek canyon. Latest slide material and talus partly enclose the zone. Nanika believes that finding mineralization with the previous reported grades on the claims is difficult. The results obtained previously can be utilized for additional exploration program.

The company’s two samplers gathered 125 soil samples in a seven-day field program conducted in the Discovery zone region. These soil samples were compiled in order to follow-up an anomalous soil anomaly with 303 ppm of arsenic and 344 ppb gold. The Discovery zone was not located by the samplers. No previous record is available for the drilling program at the Polaris Gold property. AGAT Laboratories tested 125 soil samples and yielded anomalous values of up to 206 ppm copper, 11.1 ppb gold, 2.3 g/t silver and 239 ppm zinc.
