Typhoon Exploration has obtained results from 11 holes drilled at the Fayolle project, during the exploration program in 2011. Aurizon Mines may possibly purchase a 50% interest in the project and is performing work that is valued at $10 million.
Typhoon and Aurizon joint venture had planned and conducted this drilling. These results will help in extending fresh zone. The drilling results from the Fayolle deposit are pending.
The company was able to outline the potential of the Vang zone, which is a fresh gold-bearing zone that is situated approximately 600 m towards the deposit’s southwest portion. Monzodiorite dike mineralization exists in this Vang zone. A faulty zone located on the northwest part has displaced this Vang zone and this has been concluded by numerous holes, which are aiming to find the stratigraphy. The Vang zone stays exposed towards the southeast part.
