Colt Resources Announces Final Analytical Results from Tabuaço Tungsten Project

Colt Resources has reported the final analytical assays from the 11 holes drilled at the Tabuaço tungsten project, which is situated in the Armamar-Meda concession, North Portugal.

These analytical results have shown the resource confirmation drill program at the Tabuaço resource region and regional exploration program to examine a formerly discovered zone, which is known to outcrop at Quinta das Herédias.

Colt completed a scout drill hole, DHT-49, in order to examine a soil geochemical anomaly located at Quinta da Aveleira that is around 750 m towards the northwest part of the Tabuaço resource region and has cut scheelite mineralized skarn horizons that are same as those cut at Tabuaço. These have shown a green or pink banded lower unit and a grey metasomatized main unit near a granite contact. The new mineralization assay results are still pending. The company has considered that this fresh discovery may help increase resources.

The company has started the bulk sample collection with huge diameter core in order to allow more comprehensive metallurgical test work for enhancing the recoveries and help in designing best processing methods. Colt reported the first NI 43-101 calculation for the Tabuaço deposit during November 2011.

These analytical results belong to a part of the current drill program that was specifically designed to offer the information on the internal grade and structural uniformity of the Tabuaço skarn, housing tungsten deposit, and to examine expansions and adjacent mineralized skarn horizons with identical features as the main deposit.
