Centurion Minerals has reported that a diamond drilling rig is arriving at the Zulham epithermal gold prospect, which is located in the Banda Raya property in North Sumatra.
The company will conduct a minimum of 1,500 m of drilling, totaling five to six holes, in the diamond drilling program. These holes are collared from a site, where the mobile scout drill program has encountered assay results.
The company has specifically designed the diamond drill program to examine the vuggy breccias, containing gold, for high-grade zones and to cut an individual vuggy breccia, wherein three boulders present on the ridge crest returned 3 g/t, 6 g/t and 20 g/t of gold values. The company has encountered 2.76 g/t gold over 5 m in hole ZWDH-08 and 1.79 g/t gold over 3.2 m in hole ZWDH-09.
Mineralized gold occurring in the Keladi, Simpang Tiga and Zulham prospects have been analyzed to span around 2.5 km. These prospects are located along the south edge of a circular feature, whose diameter is 4 km. this circular feature is criss-crossed by means of the Miwah-Menawan gold lineament that extends from the Miwah high-sulfidation gold deposit located in the western part towards the Menawan, which is a porphyry-type mineralization situated in the east.
