Conquest Resources Encounters Gold Mineralization at Smith Lake Property

Conquest Resources has announced the completion of diamond drilling of 15 holes, totaling 1,759 m, in a proposed 2,500 m exploration program at the Smith Lake gold property. This property is situated near the previous Renabie Gold Mine in North Ontario.

The company has obtained the assay results of the primary six holes, which encountered anomalous values of gold between 0.52 g/t over 0.25 m and 2.80 g/t over 1.52 m. It has encountered 1.75 g/t gold over 1.52 m and 2.63 g/t gold over 0.39 m in hole CSL-12-011, 2.80 g/t gold over 0.68 m, 1.57 g/t gold over 0.30 m and 1.29 g/t gold over 0.97 m in hole CSL-12-012, 1.23 g/t gold over 0.68 m in hole CSL-12-013, 0.77 g/t gold over 0.61 m in hole CSL-12-015, 1.02 g/t gold over 0.25 m in hole CSL-12-016.

The mineralized gold cut in the drill holes is related with Trondhjemite-hosted quartz veining located in structures that were analyzed to be identical in orientation to the Nudalama and Renabie gold mines, which are situated 1,500 m towards the east and south respectively of the property’s drill program. The company is waiting for the assays for holes from CSL-12-017 to CSL-12-025.

The company has specifically designed a total of 25 proposed holes to examine shallow vein systems and additional structures at the property and has planned the drilling targets in east-west oriented structures located adjacent to the north expansion of the Braminco shear zone. Conquest has found further targets at the locations along with mobile metal ion (MMI") surface geochemical anomalies.

Summit Drilling Services has been engaged to operate the lightweight drilling device for approximately three months for BQ-sized exploration core drill program.
