New Nadina Concludes 2012 Winter Geophysical Program

New Nadina Explorations has declared the conclusion of the 2012 winter geophysical program at the Silver Queen property, which was performed by Quantec Geoscience.

Using DCIP, Titan24 and MT technology, six east-west lines around the Itsit discovery were concluded in February and March.

The 2012 Titan24 survey reported the increased size of the Itsit discovery, which has higher potentiality for mineralization. The deposit extends to an approximate area of about 3 km² and is around 800 m deeper. The size of the geophysical anomaly has been measured to be 1.5 x 2.5 km.

The 2011 drilling program supports the results of 2012 Titan24 survey as well. Especially, hole 11S-13 validates that mineralization zone is 777 m deep and is open at depth. The geophysical assessment shows that the geophysical targets lie in the new IP anomaly core.

The Titan24 magneto-telluric data shows that more conductivity features can be confined in the targeted areas, which were mapped by DC resistivity anomaly and induced polarization. This implies the presence of brecciation or sulfide zones and these regions will be focused during the 2012 drilling program.

The drilling program in 2011 at Itsit discovery intersected molybdenum, gold and copper values. The results from core samples indicate the presence of high grade mineralization zones in the deposit. The identification of these high grade zones will be the key target of the 2012 drilling program.

Only limited drilling has been done till date in the deposit and the results of the drill holes showed varied metal ratios in different regions and hence, metal zone studies will be given importance during exploration of the deposit.

The 100% owned Silver Queen property is situated close to Owen Lake which is located 40 km from South Houston, BC.
