Soldi Ventures has reported that the company will commence a program that includes geological prospecting and mapping as well as geophysical surveys at the Cameron graphite property located in Quebec. The aim of the program is to accelerate the exploration process in order to drill and reach the metallurgical testing and bulk sampling phase.
The location of the property is 5 km towards the southwestern part of the town of Ste-Therese-de-la-Gatineau, which is situated in West Quebec. A technical report obtained during 1965 has denoted the occurrence of graphite. The company located this occurrence, which was surrounded by the previous diamond drill holes.
During 1965, the graphite-bearing material as a bulk sample was sent to a processing facility in Quebec. This material of around 5 t was processed. The company additionally drilled 23 holes towards the western part of this occurrence and cut graphite. Soldi conducted three metallurgical tests on the bulk sample with the help of different grinding times and received excellent results, wherein the concentrate production on average was 91.35 % carbon after grinding for two minutes in the rod mill. After grinding for four minutes, a concentrate that averages 95.06 % carbon was received.
The company examined the bulk sample using a semi-commercial plant test. A concentrate averaging 95.11 % carbon together with 77.43 % recovery was obtained through the rod mill test. The final test run provided a concentrate averaging 97.40 % carbon along with 90.15 % recovery.
