Teras Resources has contracted National Drilling, based in Arizona, in order to speed up the development or exploration drilling campaign at the Cahuilla project in California. A new Schramm T450GT track mounted angle reverse circulation drilling rig was mobilized by National to the site. National commenced the drilling operations during the last week of April 2012.
Drilling will be carried out throughout the day by National for accelerating the operations for a recent NI 43-101 report. Nevada-based Mine development Associates is preparing the report. The company is looking forward to continue drilling together with National’s drill rig and Harris Exploration during the end of this year.
The company has received cross-check analyses for high-grade mineralized silver found in hole CAH-142. Cross-check analysis is regularly carried out to ensure that assay results are reproduced for mineral resource modeling. The original assay results announced that high-grade intercepts of gold along with large values of silver are present in the hole CAH-142. This hole returned 4.45 g/t gold and 983 g/t silver over 1.5m.
The company examined duplicate sample splits over a length of 12.2 m in the prominent high-grade mineralized silver zone for cross-check analyses. The mineralized intercept is 6.1 m thicker, when compared to the original high-grade interval of silver. Nevada-based Inspectorate Laboratory carried out assays of the reverse circulation samples.
