Oracle Mining has reported the assay results from a fresh mineralized zone, wherein the company has carried out a drill campaign at the Oracle Ridge Copper mine in South Arizona.
The company intersected 5.81% copper over 17.5 ft in drill hole ODH-24, 3.27% copper over 26.0 ft in drill hole ODH-27, 2.32% copper over 87.5 ft in drill hole ODH-26. The company considers the hole ODH-26 is significant, as it has shown irregularity in the carbonate or intrusive contact at a large scale.
Oracle identified the fresh target area based on mineralization, which is exposed in the region linking the 5900 and 6400 haulage ways. A new mineralized zone has been shown through these intersections, as previous drilling was not recorded in this region.
The assay results received from the holes ODH-24, ODH-26 and ODH-27 continue to strengthen the belief of the company about the important potential of the property’s undrilled parts in hosting further +1.0% of mineralized copper.
As a part of the current historic data base confirmation campaign, the company drilled these holes. The company has completed the validation drill program, which enables the initiation of a NI 43-101 compliant resource calculation.
The company has assayed 32 holes and the assay results are constant with previous data. Oracle Mining is testing the samples for a complete suite of elements and has discovered gold and silver, which offer additional economic value to the project.
