Patriot Gold has reported the final results of the core holes 18 through 23 drilled during the phase II infill drill and resource extension campaign carried out to examine the Moss gold-silver project’s west expansions.
Northern Vertex, project partner of Patriot Gold, is carrying out the phase I and II drill program. Patriot Gold has drilled 41 holes during the ongoing phase II exploration. The company has announced the results of 23 diamond core holes and 18 reverse circulation (RC) holes, drilled during phase II program.
Northern Vertex’s Chief Geologist, Dr.Bob Thompson stated that the company is delighted to announce that mineralization has been expanded additionally at the Moss’s western expansion, through phase II results, and further validates that the west expansion has uniform distribution of gold and silver. The length of the gold or silver mineralized structure is 6,000 ft on strike and stays exposed towards the east, west, and at depth. High-grade feeder veins were specifically cut towards the southern part and are considered to be connected with previous mining. Multi-gram hot spots and multi-meter, 1+ g/t Gold Eqv have been encountered continuously by the company.
The Moss Mine project is located in the previous Oatman Mining district, Northwest Arizona. Patriot has drilled 93 holes, which includes diamond drill, reverse circulation and coring methods, as per the joint venture project made with Northern Vertex during March 2011. The Moss project is a low-sulfidation epithermal stockwork deposit.
