Teras Resources has reported that the company has received additional assay results from the Cahuilla gold-silver project, located in California. The company continues the drill program along the Modoc fault zone and around 200 m towards the southeastern part in the precious metal deposit’s south-central part.
Mineralized gold with wide thicknesses was identified from the holes CAH-188 and CAH-189 and positively extends the size of the deposit. Hole CAH-188 was specifically drilled along the northwestern border of the south-central mineralized region and has shown that mineralization is exposed towards the western and northern part. CAH-189 angle hole is particularly drilled in a southwestern direction along the Modoc fault zone near the holes CAH-186 and 187.
The company intersected extensive shallow gold mineralization zone and has indicated that the mineralization is exposed towards the west, south and southwest part of the hole CAH-189. Teras has drilled further drill holes in both regions.
The Cahuilla Project is a paleo-hot springs large epithermal system that has several high-grade veins, which exist in a wide dispersed gold-silver mineralization body.
Nevada-based Inspectorate Laboratory carried out assaying of the reverse circulation samples. The project geologist, Mr. Paul Stubble gathered drill samples, which were sent to the laboratory for analysis.
