Prophecy Platinum, a resource company, has reported additional results of the 2012 underground drilling campaign carried out at its 100% owned Wellgreen PGM-Ni-Cu project, which is situated in Canada.
The company continues to intercept extensive mineralization along with drilling results from two holes, WU12-533 and WU12-534. Prophecy encountered 1.18 g/t Pt+Pd+Au and 0.98% copper over 10.4 m from hole WU12-533, and 0.36% copper, 0.19% nickel, and 0.89 g/t Pt+Pd+Au over 19.51 m from hole WU12-534. These sub-intervals are present in considerable thicknesses of 129.2 m and 117.0 m, respectively.
All the holes, drilled during the 2012 program, contain mineralization continuing for more than 100 m. Mineralization may possibly continue, but poor ground conditions disrupted the drilling programs. The company drilled the two holes from Station 4, located adjacent to the centre of Wellgreen Resource’s central-east zone.
Prophecy commenced the present underground drill program during February and this phase I extensive infill drill campaign was specifically designed to improve an important part of NI 43-101 inferred resource of Wellgreen. The reported grades and intercepts seem to be reliable with the resource model. The company may provide report on additional holes drilled on station 4 and will shortly mobilize the drilling rig to station 5.
The company is looking forward to start a surface program, specifically designed to add this underground stage, during early June, 2012.
