Asia's Oil and Gas Market Offers New Business Opportunities

At the 17th Asia Oil Week 2012 in Singapore, keynote speakers from across the globe and senior executives from government, autonomous and national oil companies will meet to discuss and negotiate deals related to Asia's emerging potential on important issues like government policies, upstream ventures, commercialization, acreage prospects, and risks and investments.

Key issues like frontier potential in shale gas/oil, oil threats and risks in Asia, hydrocarbon future, and Australian firms in Asia's emerging market will also be discussed at the conference.

The conference, which is hosted by Global Pacific & Partners, is a major event that focuses on Asia's exploration industry. It will be held from June 25 to 27 in Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore. The event will begin with the ‘21st Asia Petroleum Strategy Briefing’ on June 25. The Chairman and CEO of Global Pacific & Partners, Dr Duncan Clarke will deliver a presentation on this topic. Clarke is a global strategist and he observed that corporate companies and leading producer countries are adopting new business strategies, further driving the oil and gas market in Asia and expanding it into new provinces.

Asia’s oil and gas market is gaining a strong foothold and providing new business prospects for both autonomous and state oil companies.

Managing directors and CEOs of companies like Premier Oil, Talisman Energy, Roc Oil, Japex, Mubadala Oil & Gas, KrisEnergy, Cairn India, Oil Search and Petromin PNG Holdings will deliver presentations at the conference. Additionally, government representatives from New Zealand, Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Sri Lanka will deliver keynote presentations at the event.
