Redhill Resources has provided a detailed report on its exploration activities carried out in Nyakagwe Properties in Tanzania, East Africa. This property is located on the Bulyanhulu regional trend which in turn is placed at distance of less than 6 km from Barrick Gold’s Bulyanhulu gold mine.
The property has a total of 46 primary mining licenses and one prospecting license covering a total area of 500 hectares.
Drilling at the Ngula 1 target, which is located close to the PML 243 owned by Redhill, was carried out by Tembo on June 7, 2012. The PML 243 extends to a distance of 450 m in the east-west direction with a width of 200 m. During May 31 2012, Tembo reported artisanal sampling along with maps. The survey conducted by the company indicated 70 hardrock shafts on PML 243 starting from the western direction and moving on to the eastern direction at a strike length of 250 m.
The drill hole TDD0012 displayed 8.60 g/t gold over 0.98 m from 171.92 m and is situated at the eastern boundary of PML 2953. The drill hole TDD0006 displayed 2.28 g/t gold at a width of 1.42 m and at a depth of 160.76 m and is situated in the east-west direction.
