Pershimco Resources has reported that it has received latest assay results from the diamond drill program conducted at the 15,000 ha Cerro Quema property. The company completed this recent drill program over the La Pava East deposit region.
This mineralization is in line with the induced polarization (IP) ground geophysics program, which was completed recently and discovered a chargeability anomaly of dimensions of about 600x350 m. It validated the company’s model.
Currently, these drilling results have expanded the deeper mineralized sulphur to further 250 m towards east. These results are analyzed based on the company’s mineralized system model in order to reflect outflow zones related to the "feeder structures", which form the channels for the high sulphidation copper-gold mineralization found at the deposits of the Cerro Quema property. Pershimco has not found the depth level of these structures.
The company is confident over the inclusion of these drill results, which continuously confirm the project’s exploration model. The company will continue to validate the copper-gold sulphide orebody potential beneath the gold oxide resource at the Quema or Quemita and La Pava deposits, in a systematic way. In addition, it is expecting further results from drill hole PDH11014, and this hole unveiled strong visual sulphide content. The company is anticipating results from seven holes, drilled on the Quemita or Quema system that unveiled strong intercepts of visual sulphide.
