Treaty Energy, an international energy firm, has reported preliminary results of the production from the re-worked Lakeshore #1 exploration well located in Shelby County, Texas.
According to Treaty Energy’ Chairman, Andrew V. Reid, the company has previously announced that the Madeley F 1H well was qualified at 822 MCF of natural gas and 192 BOPD in a day. The company also declared that extremely high pressure was found in the Madeley well when it was exposed last Monday, and hence delayed the lateral drill expansion, till a considerable reduction in the pressure of the well head is observed.
Reid stated that a drill rig is present on site and the company made a decision to rework the Lakeshore #1 exploration well, situated approximately 1000 ft. away. Currently, the company has the preliminary numbers of production on the reworked well that is producing 37 BOPD.
Reid further stated that he is delighted about the results obtained so far from the company’s Shelby County Texas leases. Currently, the company is producing natural gas of 822 MCF and oil of 229 BOPD in a day, and expects to increase those production numbers as other wells are worked and re-entered, and further new wells are drilled on these new leases at East Texas.
