Robex Resources has announced that positive results have been obtained from the present drill program carried out at the south expansion of the Nampala location, on the Mininko permit. It has encountered 3.32 g/t gold over 10 m and 3.32 g/t over 45 m.
These holes were drilled as part of an overall program of 12,000 m which has an objective to increase the resource quality in the southern part, to analyze a future resource estimate or in the East zone and validate that precious mineralisation is not found in the outlined stockpile and tailing regions.
So far, the company has drilled 3,682 m in the East and is anticipating the analyses in the start of Q1, 2012. It has completed the proposed drilling of 2,300 m for the stockpile and tailing and has validated that region as infertile.
Robex has completed 2,819 m, totaling 33 holes, in this area during 2011 and a 200 x 100 m of drill pattern allowed to unveil a resource of 261,000 oz at 0.74 g/t of gold grade. During the present program, the grid was made tighter to 100 x 100 m in the mineralized segment and at 100 x 50 m in the northern part, located near the pit. The company has currently drilled 2,730 m, totaling 32 holes, and has treated the 3,195 samples obtained. It is waiting for the remaining analyses in this quarter.
After the rainy season, Robex will carry out the remaining drilling of 3,000 m in order to finish tightening of the South zone’s drill pattern and initiate the tightening of the East Zone’s drill pattern.
