Temex Resources Receives Eight-Hole Diamond Drilling Results from Golden Lake Property

Temex Resources has obtained all the results from the 3,255 m, 8-hole diamond drilling campaign carried out at the newly purchased Golden Lake property. This property is part of the Juby Gold project, which is situated in Northeast Ontario and located along the Larder Lake - Cadillac fault zone system’s southwest expansion. This program is the company’s initial drilling at the property, which is situated nearby and along the strike of the Juby deposit.

Mineralized gold, which is typical of the Juby main zone (JMZ), was intersected in all eight holes. These fresh holes have successfully expanded the prominent gold mineralized trend to an additional 750 m. The excellent continuity of mineralized gold from the Juby resource expands over 3.5 km.

The company encountered 1.45 g/t gold over 15.00 m, 1.30 g/t gold over 12.00 m and 1.21 g/t gold over 31.00 m in hole GL12-01B; 2.58 g/t gold over 3.00 m and 1.08 g/t gold over 25.61 m in hole GL12-02; 2.41 g/t gold over 5.00 m, 1.54 g/t gold over 14 m and 34.31 g/t gold over 1.50 m in hole GL12-03 at the new footwall zone; 3.24 g/t gold over 8.29 m and 1.86 g/t gold over 17.29 m in hole GL12-04; 4.89 g/t gold over 1.00 m and 4.94 g/t gold over 0.83 m in hole GL12-06; and 12.91 g/t gold over 1.00 m and 2.02 g/t gold over 13.00 m in hole GL12-07.

Temex specifically drilled the eight broadly-spaced holes at four segments over a strike of 750 m of the Juby deposit’s projected expansion. All drill holes cut altered Timiskaming-aged feldspar porphyry units and sedimentary rocks. Extensive gold mineralization zones exist in these units, in which some units represent continuous segments of gold mineralization identified in the JMZ deposit. Many visible gold areas were observed in crosscutting carbonate-quartz veinlets.

The hole GL12-03 was specifically expanded to examine the footwall volcanic rocks, because of the occurrence of strong alteration, typically related to high-grade deposits of gold, and intercepted core interval of 1.50 m that assayed 34.31 g/t gold. This high-grade gold zone shows a fresh target area, which will undergo drill-testing in next campaigns.
