Harte Gold has announced that it has completed the 7,000 m of diamond drill campaign at the Sugar Zone deposit. This program has significantly advanced the resource and extended the prominent mineralized envelope down dip and along strike.
The company has encountered 5.41 g/t gold over 1.00 m and 2.31 g/t gold over 2.41 m in hole SZ-12-32; 0.93 g/t gold over 0.63 m in hole SZ-12-33; 5.55 g/t gold over 2.10 m and 22.00 g/t gold over 0.50 m in hole SZ-12-35; 162.00 g/t gold over 0.56 m and 57.60 g/t gold over 1.64 m in hole SZ-12-36; 43.30 g/t gold over 0.70 m and 10.50 g/t gold over 3.20 m in hole SZ-12-37; and 34.2 g/t gold over 0.86 m and 7.06 g/t gold over 4.46 m in hole SZ-12-39.
According to Harte's CEO and President, Stephen G. Roman, this successful new drilling campaign has demonstrated that Sugar Zone ore body is bigger than originally anticipated. The company is delighted to continue the drill program at depth and on strike. The company’s preliminary economic assessment (PEA), completed recently, confirmed the project’s strong economics to 400 m of depth. The project’s durability and economics must be greatly improved, as the drill program currently expands the company’s ore body to over 1,000 m.
The company drilled these diamond holes with NQ sized core to get huge sample of the mineralized zones. The drilling contractor sealed and sent the core to the company’s facilities situated in Ontario. The company bagged, sealed and sent half the core samples to Activation Laboratories located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The fire assay methods with the help of an atomic absorption finish assayed the samples.
