International Tower Hill Mines (ITH) has declared that the drilling results for 45 condemnation and geotechnical holes have been obtained from the Livengood project region. Multi-gram intersections of gold outboard of key deposit were intercepted in four holes and this deposit shows that extensive exploration potential exists in the Livengood district-scale gold system.
The fresh intercepts of gold are located in such a way that they do not impact the present conceptual strategy for the infrastructure locations associated with mining.
These intercepts indicate the possibility of fresh discoveries on the huge 170 sq. km of land area.
According to ITH Interim CEO, Jeff Pontius, the latest drilling results obtained from a non-exploration directed campaign strive to indicate the strong nature of the gold system at the Livengood project and prospective for two fresh high-grade and bulk tonnage discoveries. The Livengood system clearly indicates that it is a district-scale gold discovery having considerable potential.
The company has intersected 4.09 g/t gold over 1.53 m and 2.75 g/t gold over 2.76 m in hole MK-12-281; 3.47 g/t gold over 2.01 m and 0.64 g/t gold over 6.61 m in hole MK-12-285; 2.48 g/t gold over 3.05 m in hole MK-12-288; and 6.91 g/t gold over 3.81 m in hole MK-12-290.
International Tower Hill Mines has a 100% interest in this Livengood Gold property can be accessed by the highway which is 70 mi towards the northern parts of Fairbanks in Alaska. This year, the company targets to quickly develop the Livengood gold system into a prospective development scenario.
