Robex Resources has announced that it has obtained the results of trenches drilled at the Moussala permit. The company received excellent results from the first of the three trenches.
The initial trench is 150 m in length and 3 to 7 m in depth. Robex obtained 0.68 g/t gold over 58 m, 1.16 g/t gold over 4 m and 0.85 g/t gold over 18 m from other trenches. Major results were not found in the second trench. The company was unable to complete the third trench because of the presence of water in ground.
The three trenches were made on a 4-km geochemical anomaly. The location of the Moussala permit is in West Mali, which is in the southeast of the Loulo deposit.
According to the CEO and President of Robex Resources, André Gagné, these gold grades identified on the surface are excellent and encourage the company to conduct exploration at the Moussala permit.
Under the terms of the contract inked with Robex regarding the N'Golopene permit, Resolute paid $ 200,000 as third installment in July. It had to make a payment of $ 400,000 to Robex in three installments in order to hold 51% of rights in the permit. Robex will have to spend $ 1 million to carry out the work at the permit by next July. Resolute will have to carry out 1.5 million for further work on the permit in order to obtain an additional 19% rights. It is a good sign that Resolute continues to explore and expand the N'Golopene permit.
