Habanero Resources, a diversified junior company, has reported that operations have been started at the company’s 100% owned White Gold prospect, located in Yukon.
This work campaign will specifically follow up on the other work programs carried out during last few years, which opened a 2.5 x 1 km multi-element soil anomaly. This prospect borders Kinross' Golden Saddle discovery.
The company has recently reported that it completed phase I program, which included soil sampling and geologic mapping in the Grand-Vallée North prospect. Exploration crews of Habanero gathered 1,658 soil samples at intervals of 50 m along gridlines spaced 400 m apart, in south of the company’s claims that are located near to the Grand-Vallée property, and along reconnaissance gridlines spaced 800 m apart with the north claim areas.
The survey results outlined numerous multi-line and multi-sample aluminum in soil anomalies. A diamond drilling campaign is expected to begin at the earliest in order to examine high-priority target areas.
According to Habanero Resources’ President, Jason Gigliotti, the company is delighted to conduct a work program at the Yukon prospect and also at the Grand Vallee prospect located in Quebec. It is concurrently conducting work at several projects at present. It is expected that drilling may be performed at the Quebec prospect during September.
Kristopher J. Raffle, P.Geo., a Senior Geologist from APEX Geoscience, supervises the work progress at the Grand-Vallée north prospect. He is the qualified person for this project.
All samples that yield anomalous values of aluminum by portable XRF will be validated with the help of whole rock XRF at ALS Minerals.
