Gold Reach Resources Receives Reconnaissance IP Geophysical Survey Results from Ootsa Property

Gold Reach Resources has declared that results have been obtained from a reconnaissance induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey conducted at the Ootsa property.

A reconnaissance IP survey of 42.9 km was included in the company’s program, which was conducted along three broadly spaced 5 km long lines that are situated towards the Seel deposit’s eastern part and along a series of logging roads. The survey’s goal was to specifically examine the claim block’s eastern side for chargeability anomalies, wherein the blocks are extensively covered by thin glacial gravels. The company discovered two huge kilometre-scale anomalies.

The area of the first anomaly is about 2 x 1.5 km, together with values of chargeability surpassing 40 mV/V and partly corresponding with a resistivity low. This anomaly directly lies towards the Ox porphyry’s eastern side. The company is intending to test the anomaly in 2012, after the analysis of soil samples taken over the zone.

Gold Reach has discovered a second important anomaly, 5 km towards the Seel deposit’s eastern side, with chargeability values that surpass 40 mV/V. This anomaly lies along a line oriented towards north-south over 1.4 km long, and stays exposed towards east. Soil sampling and mapping programs are being performed in this region in order to additionally assess the anomaly.

The company continues to drill at the West Seel deposit, in which one drill explores the zone’s south expansion and a second drill extends the deposit towards north. Gold Reach has drilled holes from S12-101 to S12-128 at the West Seel deposit. At present, the rigs are drilling holes S12-129 and 130. The company has sampled the holes from S12-112 to 128 and from Ox12-27 to 35 and will report additional assay results, once they become available.

The current drilling is continuing to extend the mineralized zone extensively at the West Seel deposit, stays exposed at depth and towards north and south. With the success of this campaign, Gold Reach has expanded the drill program throughout the fall season. The company will start a resource update later.
