Sandvik Mining has signed a Mining Systems contract with a customer in Vietnam, which will be accomplished and contribute to Sandvik Mining's business from 2012 through until 2015.
The order comprises the supply of 14 units stackers, reclaimers and stacker/reclaimers for a steel plant in Vietnam. The materials handling machines will operate within a capacity range of 675 - 6000 mt/h (745 st/h - 6615 st/h) for various materials such as iron ore, coke, sinter, etc.
Scope of supply includes design, engineering and supply of all structural, mechanical and electrical components, forwarding and transportation to Vietnam plant site and erection and commissioning at site of all 14 materials handling machines on a turn-key basis.
